As I was writing the summary my thoughts turned to some of the characters in the WORD like Moses, Job, David and many others who travelled the life journey and faced many trials and temptations. All human beings with faults and imperfections, yet God used these earthen vessels to advance His WORD as God directed them to speak and / or write.
All of them faced trials and temptations. It is no different today.
We face the same if not more today. Same tactics in our advanced world.
You know what trials and temptations lay ahead of you. Is it a testing you are going through? Or something else.
To mind comes the picture of Ephesians 6 about the armor of God and how we can prepare ourselves for the world’s advances on our spiritual life.
Here is the following describing the Armor we as believers need to wear to fight each day. Taken from “You Tube Impact Video Ministries”
- Belt of Truth: Living with integrity and knowing God’s truth to hold things together.
- Breastplate of Righteousness: Guarding your heart through moral obedience and righteousness in Christ.
- Shoes of Peace: Standing firm with the readiness that comes from the good news of peace.
- Shield of Faith: Trusting God to block doubts, fear, and fiery attacks.
- Helmet of Salvation: Protecting your mind with the assurance of your salvation.
- Sword of the Spirit: Using the spoken word of God as an offensive tool in spiritual battles. [1, 2, 3, 4]
As we follow God, may we as believers stay true to His WORD, accept correctional advice, encourage one another and be there for each other when facing life’s struggles and support your church family and community. May we also help those in need to find their way to God through our “ministries ” God uses us to touch the hearts of those in our communities where God has planted us.
P.S. “THE WALK OF A CHRISTIAN IS DESCRIBED AS A WARFARE,A DEADLY CONFLICT IN WHICH HE IS ENGAGED AGAINST THE POWER OF SATAN AND HIS HOSTS.” (  Wycliffe Bible Commentary”)
It is a daily surrender. Bless you my fellow believers. Take heart and take care.
