THE GIRL YOU DIDN’T GIVE UP ON ON PART 2

You didn’t give up on me, there was nothing attractive, knowledgeable and wise about me,

Not wealthy by worldly standards,

Not really Godlyor holy,

Just a girl that needed saving,

Just a girl treading on the paths to death…

For the wages of sin is death.

Your pursuit of me was passionate,

I was always alone but not lonely,

You wooed me day and night tirelessly,

“Come to me you who are weary and burdened,

And I will give you rest,” You would whisper,

And tug in my heart.

That particular day I saw the light,

Suddenly I knew that I needed You,

And so I called on Your name and was saved,

I opened up my heart and You embraced me,

You wiped my tears, broke the chains of sin,

Redeemed me through Your blood, forgave ALL my sins..

*Jesus did not give up on me, He won’t give up on You…

1 Timothy 1:15-16

[15]The saying is sure and true and worthy of full and universal acceptance, that Christ Jesus (the Messiah) came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost.

[16]But I obtained mercy for the reason that in me, as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might show forth and display all His perfect long-suffering and patience for an example to [encourage] those who would thereafter believe on Him for [the gaining of] eternal life.
