Today I was blessed to attend a sermon. We had a visiting priest and the sermon was something that I could carry back home.
All I want to draft is, what exactly touched the chords of my heart.
The respected Priest shared about the two miracles when St. Thomas pressed on about meeting Jesus and then believing. Miracle of the opening of the joint fingers when St. Thomas touched the wound of Jesus. The second miracle is when St. Thomas falls on his knees and proclaims ‘ My Lord My God ‘
Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” ~ John 20:28
What moved me was the tremble in the voice of the Priest when he called out ‘My Lord My God’ that love could be felt and moved our hearts. That’s what I want, that trembling voice out of my heart. He also addressed that as a child of God how important it is to inhale and exhale these precious words.
During my 7th/ 8th grade, I remember there was a well known Therumeni (Bishop) stay at my house. Early morning I use to accompany Therumeni for a morning walk. Therumeni told me how important it is to live in the light of Christ and what should I say while I inhale and exhale. My faded memory says it was the Jesus Prayer.
How beautiful it is. The words of the priest reminded me about those memorable walks and words. When you acknowledge your breath with the blessings of Christ you walk in the light of Christ. That voice will shake your heart and a sweet melody shall flow ‘My Lord My God’.

Hallelujah!! What a wonderful thing it is to Love our Lord.. That was heart touching Jobychaya!! I could actually feel feel those sentences. We need to have that love and thirst for our Lord. And the inhale exhale advice, we all need to practice it in our lives!! Loved it.. God bless you more with such insights!!
Glory to God ! Praise the Lord !
I believe and say, You are My Lord and my God. Thank you Bhaiya for this Heart touching post. Will never miss saying this, while I inhale and exhale.
